.jpg) Chrisridogs puppies are lively pups that enjoys the exhilaration of outdoor activity as much as they does the relaxation of being indoors. By nature our puppies are placid and friendly, seeking the company of humans and other animals, they are affectionate, even tempered, eager to please loving pups. At Chrisridogs we strive to breed top quality animals that is healty in body and mind, animals that are loyal, friendly healthy family pets and family protectors. Animals that will also excell in the working and showing ring. All our Golden Retrievers are health screened and hip and elbow displasia certified and eye tested. All our Black Russians are health screened and hip and elbow displasia certified, we can not always provide copy's of both parents health certificates for our Black Russians, because there are few BRT bloodlines available in SA. We often use stud dogs from other breeders, these animals are not always health screened. We also own one BRT bitch ( Tesh ) that is not health screened because of a car accident when she was a puppy. Border Collies and Italian Greyhounds don't get screened for any of the above for they are not prone to any health isues. Chrisridogs puppies are Kusa registered and the new owners receive an origanal Kusa registration certificate for their puppy as soon as they become available from the Kusa office. Our Border Collies get registered with SASDA ( Sheepdog assosiation of South Africa ) and a SASDA registration will be isued to Border Collie puppies. GROWTH CURVE OF OUR PUPPIES Puppies get to live with us at Chrisridogs for the first 8 weeks, during this very importand part of your puppies live we teach them a lot of new things, about other dogs, humans, and animals. Everything puppies should know before they have to leave us for the big wide world , It is very importand to us that our puppies are well socialiced. From 2.5 weeks after receiving their first worming, we
teach them to eat solid food wich consist of Hill's Science
Plan Lare Breed Puppy food that I soak and mush into a
soft porridge. At about 4 weeks we start potty training. At 6 weeks they
get dewormed and vacinated and then Mom also starts weening
them. At 7.5 weeks they receive a microchip and get vet checked
to make sure they are 100% healthy at the time, and at At 8 weeks your fluffy bundle of joy are driven by myself,
the breeder together with thair mom to Cape Town to get
collected by their new owner. Puppies that are going elsewhere
are taken to Cape Town International by myself the breeder
from where they will get flown to their new homes. |
